Well unfortunately the video is enormous, (2GB) so here are just some screenshots instead while I render out a smaller version in mp4 to post to the blog. (After the final, which is currently rendering, finishes of course.)

Project 2

The morning of the critique I was super excited when I walked in to find all my images till hanging up. Some of the corners had popped off the wall, but all in all the glue dots worked really well at holding up my images. Unfortunately the foam board wasn't cut to exact image size, but overall I was really happy with the outcome of this project. I wish I would've gone crazy (like i thought about doing) and put pine cones and leaves all over the floor instead of just a path (as well as the tracks too). In an ideal world I would like the floor to be covered in a layer of dirt so I could put the imprints of the tracks into the dirt (as you would see in the woods). I'm glad the animals were enjoyed by everyone, even though they were distracting. I'm still not sure of the way I would really want to display them, though hanging them on the wall does seem like a better option than on pedestals. Thinking about that though I wonder if people would still feel like its ok to touch the objects. My hope is that next project will be as enjoyable to me as this project was.

Editing-Forest Project

This first image is an screen shot of one of the videos which I thought was absolutely gorgeous. 

Here are some screen shots of my editing process. The editing process went pretty smoothly in regards to the footage I got of the forest. There were only some minor transition edits that I had to do. Most of the editing happened with the layering and color correcting and tinting. The videos still ended up being too blue for the final piece but it was a lot better than the initial footage I got.
